Body wash comes in a liquid form and tends to lather more, while body soap comes in bar form and doesn’t create as much lather.

While either body soap or body wash should be used while you shower, it doesn’t necessarily need to be used everywhere. Limit body soap use to your armpits, groin, feet, hands, and face while sticking to warm water for the rest of your body.
